Funeral services were held Thursday, January 6, 1972 at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, with Rev. Wayne Ivey, Hammon, officiating. He was self employed in the upholstery shop at Cheyenne. Born April 19, 1924 at Strong City, Mr. Brown was married to Lodema Womack October 26, 1967. He was a World War II Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Lodema, of the home; two daughters, Geneva Ann and Pamela; one son Billie Don all of the home; two brothers, Ed Snow, Elgin, C.H. Snow, Hammon; one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Newcomb, Butler; a step-father, Houston Snow; his grandmother Mrs. Bell Cantrell, Cheyenne. Pall bearers were Henry Andrews, Emmitt Morris, Leon Gilliland, Floyd McDaniel, Joe Whitson and Ervie Porter. Burial was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son in charge.
