All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Barnes, Boulware Edna Earl Boulware Barnes, longtime educator and former resident of Hammon passed away at her home on November 30, 2000 with her family at her side after and eight-year battle with cancer. Eddie was born on January 22, 1925 in Hammon, Okalhoma to Will and Mary Hammons Boulware and was one of seven children. She graducated from Hammon High School in 1942 and from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1966. Eddie was a positive influence on many young lives as she was an educator for many years. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Educator's Sorority. She was a life-long Christian who lived her faith each day. Eddie was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; her parents; brothers, Doyle and Everett Boulware; and sisters, Martha Adams and Dorothy Smith. Survivors include a son, Karey Barnes and wife Janice of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughter, Kay West and husband Jerry of Edmond, Oklahoma and daughter Karen Navaro and husband Michael of Edmond, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Keri Ann Ives, Kim and Katie Barnes, and Brian, Brad and Brfent West; one great grandchild, Grace Ann Ives; sisters Belva Bailey of Rye, Colorado and Jolene Jantzen and her husband Paul of Lubbock, Texas; sister-in-law Angie Fay Gass of Hammon, many nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Memorial may be made to Heritage Hall School Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on December 4, 2000 at City Church at 136 NW 10, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Interment was at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Guardian Northside Funeral Home, 11600 N.
