Miss Burns, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Burns, prominent ranchers of Roger Mills county, was born July 5, 1920 ar LaJunta, Colorado and has lived at her present home for 18 years. She was graduated from the Strong City high school in the class of 1939 and had been prominent in all school activities. Funeral services were held Satruday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Strong City Baptist church of which she was a member, with Rev. Carl Mabra officiating. Burial was in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by the Moore funeral home. Miss Burns is survived by her parents, two brothers, Melvin of Cheyenne and Raymond of Samoa, California, two sisters, Lois Faye and Melba Ruth of the home address.
