Rev. Brodace Elkins, church pastor, delivered the funeral sermon after which interment was in the Cheyenne cemetery Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroggins Funeral Home. Mollie Burnett was born October 16, 1884 in Old Ham County, Texas the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Dobbs. She passed away December 24, 1948 at the Sayre hospital after a critical illness of a few days. She was united in marriage to Henry E. Burnett, December 24, 1902. To this union two children were born, both of whom died in infancy. Mrs. Burnett came to Roger Mills County in 1893. She was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors are her husband of Cheyenne, her mother, Mrs. G.H. Dobbs, two brothers, Hollie Dobbs, and Andy Dobbs, and two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Walters and Mrs. May McDaniel, all of Farmington, New Mexico.
