Interment will follow in the Canute Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Reva May Barrow was born April 28, 1927 near Hammon to Leaman and Opal (Ashworth) Forrester and passed away Thursday, September 4, 2009 at the age of 82. She graduated from Hammon High School and was married to Rex Burrow in 1945. They made their home in Canute where they raised their three children. She was a homemaker and devoted much of her life to her family. Reva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her stepfather, Newt Turner and a son Darrell Barrow. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Evans of Canute, and Deanna Jordan and her husband, Jackie of Elk City; a sister, Louise Gunter of Canute, five grandchildren, Kevin Evans of Butler, Kendra Newcomb and her husband, Chad of Butler, Kellie Marshall and her husband, T.W. of Canute, Troy Jordan and his wife, Deanna of Elk City, Tosha Chauncey and her husband, Tim of Elk City, eight great grandchildren, Kelbie Hunter, Kirstin Wright, Terri Shearin, Camry and Casady Marshall, Saxon, Justin, and Talan Jordan, and two great great grandchildren, Kenly and Kaylynn Hunter.
