She passed away August 9, 2010 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 13 days. Wilma grew up in the Three Corner/Red Star Community. She was married to Ray Beals at Ft. Worth, Texas on September 6, 1955 and they remained there until moving to Pampa, Texas. They lived there for a few years until moving back to Oklahoma to make their home on the family farm where they operated a dairy. Wilma began her career in nursing in 1972 and cared for many patients at the Cheyenne Nursing Home and Roger Mills Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1989. She enjoyed raising flowers, gardening and canning. Her great love was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Naomi Faye Reinschmidt. She is survived by her husband, Ray, of the home; 4 children, Jeanice Touchstone and husband, Duane, Leedey, Oklahoma; Sharon Moler and husband, Robert, Elk City, Oklahoma; Tamara Davie and husband, Doug, Sayre, Oklahoma; Michael Ray Beals, Leedey, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 brother, David Denney, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held August 12, 2010 at 10:30 am at Red Star Brethren in Christ Church officiated by Stan Norman and Tommy Smith. Burial followed at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
