Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 8, 2009 at the First Christian Church in Ansley with Rev. Mel Shepherd officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Govier Bros. Mortuary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family. Bettye Lou Bradley was born February 27, 1943 at Strong City, Oklahoma to Ab and Opal (Blakley) Hendershot. She grew up in Strong City and received her education there. She married Joe Bradley on May 30, 1959 at Strong City, Oklahoma. They made their home at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Before moving to a ranch near Brewster in 1987 then later moved to Ansley in 1991 where they made their home until her death. Bettye loved her grandkids and enjoyed their sporting events. Whatever they were doing that's where she wanted to be. She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and riding horses. Bettye is survived by her husband Joe Bradley Sr. of Ansley, two daughters Terrie Seutsinger of Merna and Tammie (Brady) Kaelin of Broken Bow, Three sons Joe Bradley Jr. of Ansley, Jimmy Bradley of Merna and Justin (Tracey) Bradley of Brewster. Eleven grandchildren Josey, Cody, Shelbie, Denton, Tyler, Kasrissa, Ty, David, Blayne, J.T. and Zack. Two great grandchildren Leslee Jo and Brennan. One sister Francis Scroggins of Strong City, Oklahoma, and one brother Jene (Jaunita) Hendershot of Navasota, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Chancey, three brothers Jack, Jim and Johnny, and one sister Ann.
