Coffey was born August 1, 1910 in Rankin, Oklahoma to Grace Purcell and Benjamin Houston (Hugh) Howell and passed away August 9, 1999 in the Great Plains Regional Medical Center at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years and 8 days. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 1999 at the Sweetwater Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Fatheree- Albert Funeral Home. Viewing will be Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday until 11:00 a.m. Juanita married Lennie Coffey on March 20, 1929 in Mayfield, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Sweetwater Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Dale Coffey and one sister and one brother. Those surviving Juanita are her two daughters, Maxine Cole, and Colleen Allen, both of Norman, Oklahoma; three sons, Lloyd Coffey, Wildorado, Texas, Denzel Coffey, Manville, Wyoming, and Troy Royce Coffey, Woodward, Oklahoma, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
