"Chuck" Coffey, 68, died July 12, 1996, in the Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 16, 1996 in Arlington, Texas. Burial, with military honors, was held at Grand Prairie, Texas. A reception for family and friends was held following the funeral at the Moose Lodge. Mr. Coffey, the son of Leslie M. and Ruby Beddingfield Coffey, was born on February 14, 1928, in Sweetwater. He grew up on his parent's farm and attended Sweetwater Schools. After graduation, he entered the Navy and served his country in the Korean War. He attended Northwest Texas university and was employed by LTV in Dallas as chief engineer of the aerospace division, retiring after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Moose lodge and various veteran's groups. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one daughter, Tina Ann Duvall of Richardson, Texas; one grandson, Patrick Duvall of Richardson; one sister Darlene Baker of Beebe, Arkansas; three nephews, John and Gary Griffith and Mark Holley, all of Beebe; and many other relatives and friends.
