Vestal Blakely and the Rev. Alan Berry officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006, at Buffalo Cemetery in Sayre, Oklahoma under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Loreanzo. Syble passed away Monday, January 16, 2006, at Covenant Lakeside in Lubbock. She was born July 6, 1913 in Wellington to the late Joe W. and Bertha (Longest) Maple. On November 23, 1929, she married Rev. Carl Coffey in Sweetwater, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death July 12, 2002, after 772 years of marriage She was a member of the Idalouy First Baptist Church and had worked as a secretary at churches where her late husband was pastor. Syble was the strength, inspiration, and encouragement behind her husbands ministry. She moved to Idalou in May of 1994 from McAdoo. Syble is also preceded in death by a daughter, Laquetta Ozbun August 14, 1986; a brother, Cleo Maple; ands two grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Tommy Joe Coffey and wife Joan of Burlington, Ontario, Canada; a daughter, Carlene Mann of Idalou; a sister, Jolene Barker of Amarillo; nine grandcchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildddren.'
