Keith Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Ruby Pearle Walker Coffey was born March 9, 1909 in Buffalo community and died at her home in Elk City on February 7, 1993 at the age of 83. Ruby was the ninth of ten children born to George Grant Walker and Sara Isabelle McGuire. On July 16, 1927, she married Thurston Coffey and they lived in the Sweetwater community until moving to Elk City in 1979. Ruby was a member of the Elk City First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Thurston, of the Elk City home; four children, Charlene Alexis of Brighton, Colorado; Curtis Coffey of Sayre; Jim Coffey of Elk City and Ivan Coffey of Lawton; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also one brother and one sister and a number of nieces and nephews.
