Smith, Arkansas, coming to Oklahoma as a child with her parents, James Harrison Brady and Sarah Pursley Brady. She was converted at an early age and united with the Baptist Church. She was married to George Richard Cooper May 16, 1909 in her parent's home at Lawton, Oklahoma. To this union was born 7 children, Sarah Elizabeth Elwood of Inglewood, California, Viola Rena Elwood of Perris, California, George Harrison Cooper of Cheyenne, Iva Mae Minor of Cheyenne, Ruth Susie White, of Perry, Oklahoma, Dorothy Frances Tucker of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Richard Brady Cooper of Cheyenne. Mrs. Cooper moved to Roger Mills County in 1912. She and Mr. Cooper resided on a ranch east of Strong City until 1920 when they moved to a farm north of Cheyenne, later retiring in Cheyenne. Mr. Cooper preceded her in death on May 10, 1959. Also preceding her in death were her mother, and father, six brothers and three sisters. She had 30 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. Committal in Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
