Obit for Claude L. Chick

Funeral service for Claude L. Chick will be conducted at 2 p.m., Satruday from 
Rose chapel officiated by Doyle Harris.  Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery 
under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

Claude L. Chick was born September 4, 1938 in Roll to Ethel Francis and Charlie 
Eli Chick and died Wednesday, March 10, 1999 at his Carter home at the age of 60.

Claude grew up in Cheyenne and attended school there before enlisting in the 
U.S. Army.  He was discharged and later married Nerissa Crawford on March 25, 
1960 in Sayre.

The couple lived in Carter and Sayre before moving to Pampa, Texas where they 
remained for 19 years.  In 1990 they returned to Carter to make their home.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clois Chick.

Survivors include his wife, Nerissa of the home; one daughter, Geneva Flowers 
and husband Roger of Carter; three grandsons, Brent, Blain and Bryce Flowers of 
Carter, one great grandson, Brendan Flowers of Carter; two sisters and 
brothers-in-law, Darlene and Ronald Hensley of Durham and charlene and Billy 
Felton of Boerne, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and
Jean Chick of porum and many nieces and nephews.
