Cox, was on the 24th day of June, 1915, by the decree of the All-Wise Father, called from his earthly suffering to a home where pain and sorrow are unknown, and where the weary find rest,-be it therefore, Resolved, That in the death of Brother Cox, the members of this lodge fully recognize that they have lost one of their number, who was at all times imbued with the pure principles of the order, and whose life and conduct suffered no reproach to be on his character, as an Odd Fellow, fellow citizen or husband and father. Resolved, That our order teaches the hope of immortality and leads us to dwell on the beautiful traits in humand nature; that it assures us that golden chain that binds us in life can not be severed in death. Resolved, That our hearts go out in tender sympanthy for the bereaved, and while we fondly cherish the memory of our departed brother we will not forget those he loved. Resolved, That as a token of love and esteem for our deceased brother the lodge room be draped in morning for thirty days. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to his widow, Mrs. Delphia Cox and family, and to each of the newspapers of our city, and the same engrossed in the minutes of the lodge. E.L.
