He was born June 25, 1870 in Wisconsin and was married December 24, 1917 at Arapaho, Oklahoma to Nora Logan, who survives him. They moved to Elk City from Roll, Oklahoma, some four years ago. Other survivors include, Mrs. Pearl Rogers, Denver, Colorado, Otis Cook, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Mrs. Ruth Williams, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Louis Cook, Amarillo, Texas, all children and William Logan, Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Nellie Rorabough, Long Beach, California, Charles Logan, with the U.S. Army stationed at Sacramento, California, Mrs. Zella Cunningham, Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Tommy and Benny Logan, with the U.S. forces overseas, all step- children. Also surviving are brothers, Lou Cook, Colorado, Ike Cook, Arkansas City, Kansas and Will Cook, Portland, Oregon and a sister Mrs. Liddle Custer who resides in Washington. Fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. One child preceded him in death.
