Services will be Satuday Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at Cheyenne United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, OK under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne. Mr. Cogburn was born March 11, 1908 in Strong City where he lived all of his life. He was a farmer and rancher and had graduated from Strong City High School. He worked at the cream station in Strong City for several years. He had been a superintendent of Sunday School at Square Top Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Flora Belle Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Maye Jones Cogburn of the home; a son, Bob of Strong City; three grandchildren, Robert Alpheus III, Rebecca Cogburn and Leroy Scott Cogburn; two great-grandchildren, J.J. and Brittany; a brother, Sidney R.
