Milton Gage and Rev. Aubrey Cowan officiating. Interment was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Edward Eugene Casady was born March 28, 1879 at Hillsboro, Tex., and passed away in the Tulare District Hospital, Thursday, April 6, 1978, at the age of 99 years and 9 days. He filed on a homestead in Roger Mills County near Square Top School in 1899. Ed married Lettie Cook on November 9, 1904. they resided in Roger Mills County until 1946, when they moved to Texas. In 1963, they moved to Texas. In 1963, they moved to California and later back to Cheyenne to make their home. After the death of Mrs. Casady in February of 1969, he made his home with Florence in California. He was a member of the Cheyenne Masonic Lodge #133 where he had received his 50 year pin and life membership. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Lettie; 1 daughter, Ama Dean; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors are 1 daughter, Florence Casady, Tulare, Calif.; 1 son, Paul and his wife, DeLena Casady, Erie, Kansas. They reared Frances Wilson DeGeer, Newberg, Oregon.
