Ray Smart officiating. Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Lucille Allie Cecil was born Februarry 12, 1914 at Grand, Oklahoma ro Auzlwy and Mary McQuigg Ellis and passed away Wednesday May 5, 2004 at the age of 90. She attended Bellview School and then graduated from Durham High School. She was married to Glen Wiley Cecil on July 16, 1934 at Arnett, Oklahoma and they established their home in Pampa, Texas until 1942 when they returned to Durham. With an exception of a short time in California, the Cecil's lived in Durham until 1979 when they moved to Shattuck, Oklahoma. Mr. Cecil preceded her in deah on September 19, 1986 and in 1987 Mrs. Cecil returned to Durham. She was a farmer's wife, mother, homemaker, telephone operator and helped her husband run a grocery store. She was an artist, a member of the Durham Willing Workers Club and the Durham Baptist Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Cecil was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and 2 brothers. The family requests memorial in Mrs. Cecil['s name be made to the Fairview Cemetery of Durham or the Western Plains Hospic. Survivors include 2 children: Robert W. Cecil and his wife Linda of Durham, Oklahoma and Glynda Bocker and her husband Jim of Poway, California, 5 grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
