She was born April 16, 1983 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma the daughter of Lonnie Catt and Jenise Shew Catt. Shawn attended the Cheyenne, Oklahoma public schools until she was 15, when she moved to Arcola. She was a senior in the Arcola High School where she played flute and picolo in the concert and marching bands. She was the assistant manager of Kay Bee Toys in Cuscola and was a member of the Cheyenne, Oklahoma United Methodist church. Survivors include her parents, Lonnie and Jenise Catt, Arcola; her brother, Breck Catt, Arcola; her maternal grandparents, Gerald and Janet Shew, Robinson; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Nina Catt; her great grandmother, Fern McKee, Robinson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services were Friday, October 5, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Rev. Tom Akers and Pastor Johnie Adkins are in charge of services. Burial was held in the Hardinville Cemetery, rural Hardinville, IL. Visitation was from noon to service time on Friday. A community memorial service was held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2001 at the Arcola United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Arcola High School Band. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
