Caudle, April 27, 1913 in Montague, Texas and passed from this life Sunday night, September 23, 1984 in the Sayre Memorial Hospital, Sayre, Okla. following an extended illness. He moved with his parents to Roger Mills County in 1919, making his home here since that tiem. He had been a Veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. He was also a farmer and rancher. His parents, two brothers, Tilman and James; and one sister, Hazel Beebe preceded him in death. Survivors include two brothers: William Henry (Bill) Caudle of Chedyenne; Edgar Paul of McCloud, Okla.; 4 sisters: Gertrude Fleming of Claremore, Okla., Effie Mae Archer of Portland, Oregon, a twin sister, Millie Duke of Dumas, Texas, Cordelia Archer of Strong City, Okla. Also a number of nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, September 26, 1984 at 4:00 p.m. in the First Baptist church of Cheyenne with Clyde Denny and Stan Norman officiating. Interment followed in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.
