All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Clay, Wright, Parman, Matthews Matt Wayne Clay, 30, of Reydon was born November 6, 1958 in Canadian, Texas to Ray and Judy Clay and passed away Sunday, January 15, 1989 in the Oklahoma Memorial Hospital of Oklahoma City following an extended illness. Matt moved with his family from Briscoe, Texas to Reydon, Oklahoma in 1960. He graduated from Reydon High Wchool in 1977 and Southwestern State University in 1981. He made his home in Reydon involved in ranching. He was a member of the Reydon Church of Christ. Matt enjoyed many hobbies among them hunting, fishing, basketball, water skiing, and his greyhounds. Matt's grandparents, Elea and Agnes Clay and Mike and Oma Lee Wright preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Bradley Scott Clay of Reydon, his parents, Ray and Judy Clay; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Oma and Homer Lee Parman; his twin, Judith and Tracy Matthews; 1 niece, Jenifer Parman; 1 nephew, Ryan Parman all of Reydon and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, January 17, 1989 at 11 a.m. in the Reydon Community Building with Willard Cox and Clovis Rhodes officiating. Interment followed in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Active pallbearers were Gale Parman, Roy LeGrand, Donnie York, Quinton Harrison, Mike Owen and Carl (Buddy) Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Wilson, Bill Shelton, Jimmy Snell, Ernest West, Leonard Burns, Danny Dorman, Leldon Harrison, Tom Scrivner and R.L.
