Creswell and passed away July 4, 1998 in the Ganden Huetten Nursing Home in Lehighton, Pennsylvania at the age of 93. Elva was the widow of Carl G. Clifft, who passed away in 1982. She was a graduate of West Texas Teacher's College and a member of the American Association of University Woman. Mrs. Clifft taught school for a short time before becoming a full time homemaker. She was a life long member of the Park Hills Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in El Paso, Texas where she and her husband live for many years. Besides her parents and husbande she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Lucille Hite. She is survived by one daughter Janelle Sherman of Summit Hill, PA, 1 sister, Hazel Webb, Canyon, Texas; granddaughters; 9 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m.Thursday, July 9, 1998 at the Fairlawn Coimbatore officiated by Rev. Gene Spillman of Elk City First Christian Church.
