All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Calvert, Little, Minor Ivy Lucy Calvert was born June 6, 1907 northewest of Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Anna Christine and Willie Wesley Little and passed away November 19, 1994 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 13 days. Ivy attended school at Strong City and married Frank Calvert on December 23, 1923 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. They moved to Frank's parents homeplace where they made their home for the past 71 years. Ivy loved her life on the farm. She could be seen as a good mother and grandmother while tending the chikens, taking care of her garden and helping Frank with the dairy and farm. She was a member of the Cheyenne First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Vernon Little and one grandson Vernon Wayne Calvert. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank, one daughter and son- in-law, Doris and Ivan Minor of Cheyenne, two sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Juhree Calvert of Durham, Derward and Oweita Calvert of Cheyenne, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, November 21, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. Jay Tatum officiating Interment in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
