Collins was born January 14, 1938 in Canadian, Texas to Ella Octavia and Harmon Elmer Collins. He passed away October 20, 2004 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 9 monyhs and 6 days. Frank moved with his mother and sister to Durham in 1942. He graduated from Durham High School and was married to Pat (Briggs) in Durham on June 16, 1957 and they made their home in the same house in which he grew up. Frank farmed and was a contract pumper in the oilfield for 32 years. Frank was and avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Durham Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Walter Aderhold. Memorials may be made to the Fairview Cemetery Fund, Rt 1, Durham, Oklahoma. Services were held October 23. 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Durham Community Building officiated by Ray Smart and Jim Gebbart. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills, County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Survivors: wife-Pat of the home; 2 daughters Jaquita and Jackie Sibley, Frutch, Texas, Nena and Bert Wells, Durham, Oklahoma; 1 son Michael and Stephanie Collins, Durham, Oklahoma; 1 sister Nan Evans, Durham, Oklahoma, 4 grandchildren, Adam Sibley, Nicole Sibley, Morgan Wells, Shannon Collins and a host of other relatives and friends.
