Harmon. She passed away June 22, 2002 in Elkview General Hospital in Hobart, Oklahoma, at the age of 68 years and 27 days. Her parents moved to Doxey when she was a child. She grew up in the Doxey-Sayre area and graduated from Sayre High School in 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, James Lynn Hill, 1 brother Adrian Harmon, and a son-in-law, Paul Phillips. Services will be held Tuesday June 25, 2002 p.m. at Whinery-Savage Chapel, officiated by Henry Fletcher. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of Whiney-Savage Funeral Service. Survivors include 2 daughters, Barbara Phelps and husband of Vicksburg, MS; Glen and Cheryl Phillips of Elk City, OK; 1 sister Lucille Jones of Elk City, OK, 1 brother Garvin Harmon and wife Elva of Oklahoma City, OK, 7 grandchildren, Stacey Cox, Julie Louis, Jeremy Hill, James Lyn Hill, Jr., Jodie Coats, Misti Coats, Shelby Coats; 4 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
