Junior moved with his family to western Oklahoma as a young boy. At the age of 16, he began working for the Santa Fe Railroad. Junior married Betty Reed on May 6, 1947 in Cheyenne, OK and they lived in Red Moon until moving to cheyenne to make their home. He retired from Santa Fe in 1968 and spent much of his time working on small engines and raising roses. He was a member of Cheyenne First Baptist Church. He was precded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 1 brother. He is survived by his wife Betty of the home; 4 sons, Bob Conway and wife, Venita, Silver Lake, KS, Gene Conway and wife, Dorothy, Cheyenne, OK, Rick Conway and wife, Tonda, Woodward, OK, Tom Conway and wife, Janice, Cheyenne, OK; sister, Imogene Binion, Cheyenne, OK; brother, Ray Conway, Locust Grove, OK and grandchildren. Services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday May 13, 1995 at the Cheyenne First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Dodson and assisted by Terrell Romberg.
