All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Coym, Jones, Gray, Adams Sarah Elizabeth Coym was born July 1, 1904 in Duaham, Oklahom Territory to Margaret Jane and Benjamin Franklin Jones. She passed away April 2, 2000 in Cheyenne Care Center at the age of 95 years 9 months and 1 day. Sarah married John Herman Coym at Arapaho, Oklahoma on May 12, 1920. They lived in the Durham Community before moving to Cheyenne in 1965 to make their home. Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed having her family around her. She loved gardening, working in her flowers, quilting in her club and sewing at home. Fishing and hunting was soemthing she enjoyed in her spare time and most anything else her family liked to do. She was a member of Cheyenne Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, three brothers and six sisters and two grandchildren. Her survivors include two daughters, Ethel Gray and husband, Jim, Fritch, Texas, and Margaret Adams and husband, Johnie, Greely, Colorado; two sons Jake Coym and wife Thelma, Reydon, Okalhoma and James Coym and wife, Joyce, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held April 5, 2000 at 2 p.m. at the Cheyenne Church of Christ, officiated by Kendall Abner.
