Memorial services were held Monday, Dec. 4, 1978 at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service. Interment was in the Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mrs. Campbell was born April 21, 1901, in Dibble. She came to the Grimes community in 1902 with her parents and on June 1, 1921, she married James Hambrook in Cheyenne who preceded her in death January, 1933. On June 4, 1945, she married Jesse Campbell in Sayre who preceded her in death December 1, 1975. They moved to Sayre in 1974 to make their home. Mrs. Campbell had been a member of the church of Christ since the age of 19. Survivors are 1 daughter, Mrs. Rex Atha of Cheyenne; 1 son, Virgil Hambrook of Mustang; 3 stepdaughters, Beda Borger of Amarillo, Tex., Opal Bradford of Tacoma, Wash., Fern Hughes of Oklahoma City; 1 brother, Walter D.
