Campbell was born September 11, 1938 in Elk City, OK, to Allene and Wallace Campbell. He passed away September 20, 2001 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years and 9 days. Donald graduated high school from Cheyenne in 1956. He was the lst FFA President of the lst Chapter of FFA in Cheyenne. He joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Korea and Japan. Donald was an instructor for the Air Force in Amarillo, Texas for a short time. He was married to Carlene Pierce at Cheyenne, Oklahoma on October 19, 1961 and they made their home in Cheyenne. In 1975 Donald and Carlene opened Campbell's Food Center. Donald worked as the Court Clerk for Goer Mills County from January of 1963 to December of 1990. He was a member of Cheyenne Church of Christ. Donald liked gardening, reading and wood working. He was preceded in death by his father and wife. Survived by one daughter, Donetta Campbell, Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, Robert Campbell, Paden, OK; Roger Campbell, Elk City, OK; his mother Allene Campbell, Cheyenne, OK; one brother, Wayne Campbell, Yukon, OK; 7 grandchildren, Tanner Campbell, Evan Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Russell Campbell, Derek Campbell, Sara Campbell, Sean Campbell; hosts of relatives and friends.
