Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 22, 1993 at the First Assembly of God Church, Sapulpa with Rev. Luis Torres officiating. Burial was a Military Interment National Cemetery, Fayettville, Arkansas. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Owen Funeral Home. Donald was born on October 14, 1934 in Hicks, Arkansas to M.L. and Hazel F. Wilkerson Chandler. He was self-employed as a drywall contractor. He lived in Sapulpa the last five years coming from Hammon, Oklahoma. Mr. Chandler was married on September 1, 1967 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Aneata Houghland Chandler. Survivors include his wife, Aneata, of the home; mother, Hazel Francis Chandler, Fayetteville, Arkansas; children Donald Ray Chandler II, Sapulpa; Steven Clyde Valentine, Houston, Texas; Larry Don Evans, Manchester, Missouri; Sandri Francis Chandler, Fullerton, California; Donna Aneata Ufer, Sapulpa; Rhonda Sue Hostetler, Sapulpa; and Nelda Jean Crayton, Tulsa; brothers Billy W. Chandler, Winslow, arizona; Gary Lloyd Chandler, Las Vegas, Nevada; J.B. Chandler, Fullerton, California; Darrell Chandler, Fayetteville, Arkansas; sisters, Anna Bell Stanberry, Woodlawn, California; Dela LaVerne Cooper, Fayetteville, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
