Interment followed in the Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Glena Yvonne Cantrell was born May 6, 1933 at Logan, Oklahoma to Glen and Blanche Burk Travis and passed away Tuesday, Mary 9, 2000 at the age of 67. She was married to Raymond Cantrell on August 12, 1964. They have lived in western Oklahoma most all of their married life. Mrs. Cantrell spent her working career as a nurse's aid and also assisted the elderly in their homes. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a daughter, Alice Cantrell; and two grandchildren, Dirk Lee Foster and Sharissa Dawn Pierce. Survivors include 5 children: Joy Sullivan and her husband, Alan, of Elk City, Kay Pierce and her husband, Don, of Elk City, Gary Foster of Follett, Texas, Larry Foster and his wife, Judy, of Buffalo, Texas, and Terry Foster and his wife, Linda of Forgan, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Kay Smith, of Amarillo, Texas and 1 brother, Alan Dean Travis of Dallas, Texas.
