Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Raymond was born May 9, 1925 in Moorewood to Rice Stringer and Blanche Quattlebaum Cantrell and died Sunday August 1, 1999 at the age of 74. When he was a teenager he moved to Cheyenne with his family and lived with his sister for five years. He then in California for a few years and moved to Amarillo where he was a butcher for five years. He returned to Cheyenne and married Glenna Travis on August 12, 1964 in Arnett, Oklahoma. In 1991 they moved to Sayre and then to Reydon. Survivors include his wife Glenna of the home; four sons, Troy Gene Davis of Springdale, Arkansas, Gary Don Foster of Folett, Texas, Larry Foster of Buffalo, Texas, and Terry Foster of Forgan, Oklahoma; three daughters, Karen Joyce Starr of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kay Pierce of Elk City and Joy Sullivan of Reydon; twenty-three grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Archer of Sayre, Letha Hodnett of Amarillo and three brothers, Wesley Cantrell of Amarillo, Claude Cantrell of Borger and Johnny Cantrell of Lawton.
