Supply and the father of Paul Cantrell, Jr., Elk City, were at 10 a.m. Friday in Hillcrest Church of Christ in Woodward with J.A. Farber of McLean, Texas, and Charles Cullum, pastor officiating. Interment was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. Friday under the direction of Stedher Mortuary of Woodward. Mr. Cantrell was born in Three Corners on August 20, 1916, and died in the Woodward Memorial Hospital Wednesday evening December 12, 1973 following a heart attack. On July 7, 1967, he was married to Vera Stermer in Hardy, Arkansas. They lived in clinton and Elk City before moving to Ft. Supply in 1970. Survivors include his wife, his mother Mrs. Bell Cantrell of Cheyenne; 1 son Paul Cantrell, Jr., of Elk City, 1 daugter, Mrs. Sandra Schoolcraft of Canadian, Texas; 2 sisters, Mrs. Jake Archer of Cheyenne and Mrs. Eddie Creed of Selma, California; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
