Mr. Cantrell was born in 1955, in Sayre, Oklahoma. He resided in Cheyenne, Oklahoma where he attended school until the age of 13. He moved to Amarillo, where he graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1973. He married Anna Marie Luna in 1974 in Amarillo, and 3 children were born of this union. He owned Classic Landscaping and was a partner in Cantrell and Sons Tree Service in Amarillo. He was a part-time wrestling coach at the Maverick Club as well as referee with the TAWA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Berry, in 1994 and his brother Kelly Cantrell in 1995. Services were held Friday, September 6th, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson with Rev. Ronnie Mullins officiating. Burial took place at the Llano Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Alesha Cantrell of Orlando, Florida, Monica Cantrell of Amarillo, Texas; one son, Chris Cantrell of Amarillo, Texas; father Wesley Cantrell of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Janice Boatman and husband Leroy, of Leedey, Oklahoma, Vickie Hixon and husband Gary of Crescent, Oklahoma, Paulette Wesner of Yukon, Oklahoma; one brother, Benny Cantrell and wife, Tammy of Amarillo, Texas.
