Donald grew up in the Durham community. In 1956, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his discharge in 1960, he returned to Durham and married Florence Miller before moving to Pampa, Texas. In 1970, Donald married Mayrene Beeson on November 20, in Sayre, Oklahoma, where they remained to make their home. He was a member of Sayre Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his father and 2 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Mayrene of the home; 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Johnnie Beesen, Burns Flat, Oklahoma, Gaary and Bonnie Beeson, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Charles and Jo Ann Beeson, Sayre, Oklahoma and Steve and Tammy Carey of Amarillo, Texas; his mother Hallie Carey, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, 1 sister Barbara Miller and husband Clovis, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne and Joyce Carey, Edmond, Oklahoma, LeRoy and Resatha Carey, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bobby and Charlene Carey, Sayre, Oklahoma and Ronnie and Vickie Carey, Elk City, Oklahoma, 13 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 1998 at the Sayre Assembly of God Church officiated by Damon Akin and assisted by Ray Smart. Interment was in the Carter Cemetery, Carter, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
