Macklin Carr, 81, was born September 6, 1903 in Martinsville, Ill. to Oliver Perry and Bessie Edith Madklin and passed from this life suddently Tuesday morning Feb. 5, 1985 at her home in Sundown, Texas. As a small child she came with her parents to the Berlin-cheyenne area, where they made their home. she att4ended school at Eden View. In January 1921 she was married o Dennis Owen carr. Mrs. Carr's employment as Food Supervisor for the F.W. Wollworth Co. took her to many cities. Her home was in Tulsa, Oklahoma until 1969 when she moved to Sundown, Texas, where she lived at the time of her death. She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sundown, Texas for a number of years. Preceding Mrs. Carr in death were her parents and 2 sons; an infant son in 1922 and Owen Ray Carr in 1978. Survivors include 2 sisters: Mrs. Lulu Ford of cheyenne and Mrs. Opal Houx of Sundown, Texas; 1 brother, Lee Macklin of Kerrville, Texas; 3 grandchildren: Danny Ray Carr of Orange, Calif., Sanid Van Slyke of Webster, New York; and Tom Carr of Orange, Calif., 6 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon, February 8, 1985 at 2:00 p.m. in the United Methodist Church in Cheyenne with Garland Spurgin and A.L. Martin officiating. Interment followed in the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Active pallbearers were: Ronald Baker, W.P. Thompson, Bob Trammell, Charles Keahey, Robert Perriman and Donald Moorman. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Blair, Solon Spitzer, Eldridge Calvert and Ted Haight. George C.
