Funeral services were held September 9, 1971 at 2:30 p.m. in the Scroggins Chapel, Cheyenne, Rev. Roy Weaver officiating. Mr. Cross was born June 2, 1925 in Roger Mills County. He was a Phoenix surveyor. Survivors are two sons, William Glenn, Jr., of Winslow, Arizona, Michael Martin of Apache Junction, Arizona; his mother; Mrs. Faye Cross, Cheyenne; three sisters, Mrs. Marian Greever, Nevada City, California, Frances Olive, Sacramento, California; Mrs. Jan Hall, Dallas, Texas, all of whom where present for the service. Pallbearers were Billy Chalfant, Lloyd Martin, George W. Prestridge, Lloyd Smith. Interment was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son in charge.
