Later he moved to Texas and came to Oklahoma in an early day homesteading near Durham. He moved back to Texas where he resided until 1920 when he returned to Roger Mills County where he resided until his death which occured last Sunday at 11 p.m. at his home near Durham. In 1906 he was married to Miss Doar Harper, also of the vicinity of Durham. To this union were born five children all of whom survive the father. They are Mrs. Hazel Hughes of Hector, Arkansas; Edwin of Durham; Mrs. Bessie Martin of Hamburg, Arkansas; Fred Churchill Jr., of Durham; Carrol Churchill of Durham. In 1932 Mr. Churchill professed religion and united with the Church of Christ. Funeral services were held Monday with the Rev. C.E. McGaughey of Elk City officiating and Tunnard Funeral Home in charge. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
