Bonser and passed April 24, 1999 at her home in Durham, OK at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 5 days. Bernie Faye grew up south of the North Canadian River near Packsaddle. She graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1949 and later married Sy churchill on November 10, 1950 in Albuquerque, NM. They lived west of Durham until moving south of Reydon and later returned to Durham to live on the homeplace. Bernie Faye was active with the Antelope Hills Square Dancers and was a member of the Durham Willing Workers. She was a member of the Durham Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Bernard Bonser. She is survived by her husband Sylvester Churchill of the home; 2 daughters and sons in law Faye Ann and Bill Peetom of Shattuck, OK and Cathy and Linn Canary of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 sisters Barbara Pond of Ft. Cobb, OK, Bea Williams of Oklahoma City, and Betty Bonser of Chickasha, OK; 5 brothers, Bobby Bonser of Dill City, OK; Bill Bonser and Dale Bonser both of Klamath Falls, OR; and Bryan Bonser and Barney Bonser both of Cheyenne, 1 grandson W.A. peetom of Shattuck, OK and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday April 27, 1999 at the Durham Community Building officiated by Rev. Lin Sylvester, and assisted by Ray Smart.
