Born in Cheyenne, September 26, 1937, she was the fourth child and third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Jackson, Cheyenne. After spending her childhood in the Strong City community, where she attended grade school. Laberta moved with her family to Cheyenne. She graduated from Cheyenne High in 1955 and later attended Draughn's Business College in Oklahoam City. In 1970 she married Joe Crossley and they have made their home in Moore since that time. A firm believer in Jesus Christ. Laberta leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Joe Crossley, Moore; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Jackson, Cheyenne, two brothers, marshall Jackson, Oklahoma City; Randall Jackson, Dallas, Texas, three sister, Mrs. Cleo (Louise) McDaniel, ElDorado, Arkansas; Mrs. Jim (Lorraine) Powers, Yukon, Oklahoma; and Floy Brock, Cheyenne, six nephews, five nieces and one grea tniece and three great nephews. She was a niece of Mr. and Mrs. lawrence Beckel, Durham; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jackson, Cheyenne and Mr. and Mrs. Eli Shotwell, Jr., Cheyenne.
