Clarence Day Curtis, a former resident of Cheyenne and Hammon, Okla., were Thursday August 2, 1979, in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Rev. Curtis was born in Roll, Oklahoma on October 1, 1901, he died in Oklahoma City, at his home July 31, 1979, age 77. Rev. Curtis had been a resident of Oklahoma City for 6 years coming to Oklahoma from Texas in 1973. He was a Minister from the mid 30's in both Texas and Oklahoma. He had resided in Texas from 1942 until he moved to Oklahoma City in 1973. Rev. Curtis was a World War I veteran and a member of the Southwood Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Survivors are: His wife, Mrs. Rosa Bell Curtis of the home; 1 son, John D. Curtis, Dallas, Texas; 3 daughters, Mrs. Reba Huff, Oregon, Mrs. Glendora Martin, Arkansas, and Mrs Nadine Havoline, California; 1 sister, Mrs. Addie Eastwood, Lindsay, Oklahoma; 1 brothers, Jim P.
