Curtis of this city, died as a result of a complication of diseases last Monday April 12, 1915 about 7 o'clock. She was taken ill last November with typhoid fever, which later developed into other complications, and her strength was continually being reduced until the end came. Her relatvies and those acquainted with the seriousness of her condition were aware that medical aid only served to prolong for a little while death. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. O.O. Wilson assisted by Rev. Wileman at the Baptist Church. Alice was born November 5, 1894, near Seadman, in Calaway county, Missouri and died April 12, 1915 being twenty years, five months, and seven days of age at the time of her death. She was converted in 1911, and at that time joined the Methodist church of this city. And since that time she has continually lived the life of a faithful follower of Christ. To the bereaved friends and relatives who were made sad because of her death, we offer the condolation that, now, she has gone to rest serenely with the One that she followed so devotedly here; and, that also we should remember that aangeles in Heaven rejoice at the transmigrationof such a soul from this terrestrial sphere to that celestrial home above. Interment in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Roger Mills Archives http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/rogermills/rogermills.html
