He was married to Louise Corn, Feb. 5, 1893 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Those left to mourn his going are his wife, four daughters, seven sons, one daughter having preceded him in death, fifteen grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. He was a member of the Baptist Church and also a member of the masonic lodge. He became a Christian in his early manhood and his tender and loving kindness and strong character conveyed his faith. Those survivng are his widow of Durham and 11 children who are: Mrs. Pearl Chastain, Shattuck, Oklahoma; Mrs. Mary Turner, Durham, Oklahoma; Mrs. Gussie Rupert, LeFors, Texas; Mrs. Ruth Thrasher, Alamosa, Colo.; George W. Magic City, Texas; J.F.
