Services were conducted from the Hammon First Baptist Church, Saturday, March the 18th, 1972 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Billy Parvin officiating. Burial followed in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Mrs. Cordum was born in 1903 March 3rd, in Sneedville, Tennessee. She was 69. She came to Roger Mills County in 1908, and was married to Clark Cordum in Roger Mills County January 1, 1922. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Hammon. Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Yvonne Stooker, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Mrs. Deanna Gamble, Wheatland, Oklahoma, one son Delbert Cordum; two sisters, Miss Nola Trent of Elk City and Mrs. Baleria Conley, San Francisco, California and a brother, Dana Trent, of Altus, Oklahoma and seven grandchildren.
