Dwight Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Martin Funeral Home. Tennie Tulp was born January 23, 1897 and died June 24, 1988 in Bethany at the age of 91. Her parents were Jacob and Wilena Tulp of Chicago, Ill. At the age of 20 she was married to Ralph Ebbens on April 18, 1917 in Chicago. To this union were born nine children, Ralph Ebbens, Sr., preceded Tennie in death November 22, 1963. Four children preceded her in death, Jack, Ralph Jr., Bernice, Kruger and an infant son, Raymond. She left five children surviving her: three sons, George of Appleton, Wis., Herman of Phoenix, Ariz.; Bob of Calumet City, Ill., and two daughters, Marjorie Spatola of Scottsdale, Ariz, and Bessie Reus of Chicago. Tennie worked for many years at American Can in Illinois and retired at the age of 66. On July 9, 1975, Tennie was united in marriage to emmit H. Carder. They resided in his home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, until 1978 when they sold the home in Cheyenne and bought a home in Hammon, where they lived until July 14, 1986, when, because of helath problems, they moved to Yukon Convalescent Home, where they shared a room together until his death on March 29, 1987. She continued to reside at Yukon Convalescent Home until her death.
