J.B. Crawl, a well known resident of the Grimes  community died at his 
home last Monday night of a heart attack.  Funeral services were conducted 
Wednesday afternoon at the Dempsey cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, 
Oklahoma.

Mr. Crawl was born in Kentucky in 1871.  He had resided in the vicinity of 
Dempsey for the past 35 years and was one of the highly respected citizens 
of the county.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Donna Crawl, four step-children, four 
sisters who are Mrs. G.A. Stovall of Sayre, Oklahoma, Mrs. W.T. Williams 
of Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Mary E. Mann of  Canon  City, Colorado and Mrs. 
Fanny Galbreath of Canon City, Colorado and two brothers, T.J. Crawl of 
the Dempsey community and Buck Crawl of Reydon, Oklahoma.
