Crom who died Thursday October 31, 1946 following a brief illness were held Saturday at the Berlin Methodist Church with Rev. Grover Thompson officiating. Mr. Crom was born January 14, 1886 in the Saline county, Nebraska, and came to western Oklahoma 15 years ago and settled near Sayre where he had resided since. Survivors include his wife, one son, Noah, four sisters, Mrs. Lida Flickering of Mountain View, Mrs. Lula Wernt of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Emma Yarbrough of Lone Wolf and Mrs. Betty Sharpe of Walters. Committal was at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroggins Funeral Home. Sayre Sunbeam, Sayre, OK 7-Nov-1946\ ========= Levi Monroe Crom, Sayre, Rt 1, died at his home Thursday October 31, 1946 at 7: a.m. from a sudden heart attack. Mr. Crom was born January 14, 1886 in Saline county, Nebraska. He came to western Oklahoma from Nebraska 15 years ago and has resided in this community since that time. He was a farmer and carpenter by trade. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Parthentia Crom of the home address; one son Noah, Jr. of the home address; four sisters, Mrs. Lida Flickinger, Mt. View, Mrs. Lula Belle Wernts, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Emma Yarbrough, Lone Wolf, Mrs. Betty Sharpe of Walters. Funeral services will be held from the Berlin Methodist church, Saturday, November 2, 1946 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Grover Thompson officiating. Committal will be in charge of the Scroggins funeral home.
