Rada Sue was born to Gene and Flossie Long Williams on December 28, 1944 in Elk City, Oklahoma. Rada Sue grew up on the family farm, 2 miles northeast of Leedey, Oklahoma. She attended grade school and high school in Leedey, and graduated with the class of 1963. On February 14, 1967 Rada Sue was united in marriage to Everett Carman in the Leedey First Baptist Church. Their marriage was blessed with the birth of their two sons, Anthony Delane and Everett Clayton. Everett and Rada Sue made their first home in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. They later moved to Moorewood, Oklahoma where they lived for 14 years before moving to their present home near Leedey. Rada Sue was an accomplished painter, and also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, sewing and ceramics. She was always ready to help with activities of her graduating class. Rada Sue was a member of the Leedey First Baptist Church. She lovingly served as a Sunday school teacher and also was a member of the Hostess Committee. She si preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Flossie Williams; her brother, Delane (Breezy) Williams; and by brother-in-law, Marion Carman. Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, Everett Carmnan of the home; sons Sergeant First Class Anthony Carman and wife Stacey of Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, and Everett Clayton Carman of North Hollywood, California; grandchildren Ashton Carman and Kesley Carman of Ft. Jackson, South Carolina; brother, Jerry Williams and wife Jo of Woodward; sister, Joy Wilson and husband Jesse of Clinton; uncle, Jerry Greer; several nieces, nephews and many good friends. Services were helf Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in the Leedey First Baptist Church, with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery, Leedey, Dewey County, Oklahoma. Services arranged by Shaw Funeral Home, Leedey, Oklahoma.
