This cowboy passed away, June 4, 2011 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the handsome age of 25 years old. David grew up in Guthrie and later graduated high school at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. During high school this all around cowboy was a member of FFA, JRCA, NHSRA and TCRA. He continued rodeo after high school. On July 23, 2005 he married the love of his life, Anna T. Carpenter. Their love grew welcoming a baby girl, Scout Avery, in January 2006 and a baby boy, Brighton Lane, in May 2007. They made their life in Cheyenne, Oklahoma while he proudly followed his fathers footsteps, climbin the ladder of Cactus Drilling Rig 140 where he obtained a new band of brothers. David's life included the family farm, good ol' country living, but revolved around his beautiful family. David is preceded in death by his Grammy, Karen Sue Coffin, of Guthrie, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Anna Coffin, and their two children, Scout and Brighton Coffin of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. His parentsd, Gary and Melanie Coffin; his brother, Jason Coffin and wife, Annie; his sister Kimberly Coffin, all of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. His grandparents, Dale Coffin, of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Jack and Janice Thompson of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Eleven adoring nephews and seven nieces. One great nephew and 3 great nieces and a host of family and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Cheyenne School Audiroium officiated by Juanice Parkhurst and Michael Phillips. Burial will follow at Cheyenne Cemetery.
