Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Rose Chapel with Dennis Surber officiating. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre. Mr. Cotton, son of Columbus and Martha Cotton, was born April 16, 1905 in Marshall, Arkansas. He moved with his parents to Oklahoma in 1907 near Grimes. He attended school at Brookside, later moving to Oklahoma City. He married Audra Lucille Scarlett June 2, 1934 in Oklahoma City. After their marriage they lived in Oklahoma City. He went into the Army during World War II as a military policeman. He was stationed in Michigan and New Jersey moving to Oklahoma City after his discharge. He worked for the commercial warehouse until he retired in 1967,. He moved to the Grimes community near Cotton Store. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
